Location very good, basic but tasty breakfast. However, we had a problem contacting the host, check-in was around 8 pm (which we informed the day before). Despite being assured that we would receive check-in instructions, we received nothing. Only when we were at the building were we able to reach the host and get information on how to access the room.

Good location, poor communication
Location is good, 3-minute walk to the metro (Ferrari), not Sant Augustino as Google Maps sends you to! Breakfast was ok, nothing special but ok nonetheless. Quirky place with about 5 rooms, the hallway is very nice. Internet worked well.

- • Have to be honest but the communication was poor. Had an email the day before traveling asking about what time we would arrive but that was it. At midday of arrival all the info was sent. However, we had no internet so we were stood outside for 20 minutes waiting to get in (we were given access electronically so no one even came). We were then stood outside the property for another 20 minutes as we still didn’t have any internet. Eventually I got through from the UK and we eventually got access. No apology at all which was annoying. We left before breakfast on our second day and asked if any could be sent the night before. No reply to this, only about the city tax. Again very disappointing and felt like we were communicating with a robot rather than a traditional B&B. Our Florence apartment has been in touch 4 days early already so can be done!
