- • I was very disappointed by the cleaning staff. We not only wrote on the paper what we needed ironed for a wedding, but we specifically spoke to our house cleaner and she said she would get it done and we came back to get ready with our beds made and the wrinkled, uncleaned dresses for that night just put back on top. We also kept getting decaf coffee after the first day, when we were clearly drinking the caffeinated. We also did not receive new coffee mugs. For what we paid it was quite shocking

The location in Florence. Effort of originality in the room and bathroom decor. Nespresso. Flowery vegetated rooftop terrace, well located. Fish offer on the menu. Efficient staff.

- • Breakfast is very disappointing for a 4-star hotel and has no relation to the room price: no offer of fresh local and seasonal fruits, except for cafeteria apple slices (from autumn) in May. No applesauce. No original local breads, no offer of pastries or homemade desserts. The hotel layout, between two buildings, turns one of them into an entrance without any lobby. Windy terrace, very cold for dinner. The room and bathroom are directly facing the occupants of the building just in front, very close. The balcony is tiny and facing the street, so it was unused. As in all hotels, there is no space to keep two suitcases open during use.
