Kudos to Amar & Naji!
Breakfast is delicious. Definitely one of the best hotel guest service in the country, specially from the spa’s manager Amar who was super nice and attentive. I had the best 90 minutes massage ever by Naji! Thank you guys for an unforgettable wedding anniversary!

Citadel
Had the best vacation there. The staff is so friendly! As we entered Ilan from concierge greeted us and helped with our bags. After I unpacked. Ilan took care of all our dinner reservations and ideas of what to go see. The hotel was clean. The food was delicious. Can't wait to go back again. Can't get better than the view of the old city from the breakfast room.

Luxury hotel for real!
Luxury hotel for real! Service at the highest level, orderly parking, 2 minutes walk from Mamilla and one of the best breakfasts I've seen. Highly recommended for families because of the large and beautiful outdoor pool. Not cheap at all but worth every penny.

Beautiful and incredible service
Wonderful hotel. The service is above 5 star. I forgot an item at the hotel and Jeremy, the Concierge Manager, went truly above and beyond to get it to me. In general, the concierge was extremely helpful, responding instantly and securing the perfect dining spots for us. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are big and very chic. Our view over the old city was crazy!!!! Breakfast is amazing. Location can’t be beat.

Home at the Citadel
We were delighted to return to the David Citadel after such a long time. The location remains superb, the hotel felt pleasantly familiar, and it was wonderful to be back in Jerusalem. Breakfast was very good, but the service was inconsistent. Some tables received plenty of attention while ours was sometimes left waiting. More than once, staff at nearby tables were asking guests for online reviews while we were trying to get service. Reviews matter, but waiting guests should come first. There were also loud private conversations between staff in Arabic near the tables. The language was not the issue. The volume and setting were. The rooms are comfortable, although quieter air conditioning, digital controls for the temperature and lighting, and larger televisions would feel more in keeping with a five star hotel. We also noticed staff smoking near the entrance, a small detail that felt out of place at this level. We appreciated Munir, the Front Office Manager. You could see the warmth in his eyes and hear it in his laughter. He seemed genuinely happy to welcome guests. One of the bellmen, whose name I believe was Yon, also deserves a mention. He always had a warm smile and regularly asked how he could help. Before coming to Jerusalem, our concierge in Paris told us to look out for Jeremy Weiss, the new Concierge Manager, and said we would be in excellent hands. He was right. Jeremy welcomed us warmly, helped with every request and remained calm, smiling and attentive even on a very busy Friday. He noticed everyone, not only the guests at his desk, and his warmth, humour and service reminded us of some of the finest concierges we have met in Europe and Asia. He even made my wife laugh, which is no small achievement. I hope she never reads this. When we mentioned that Las Vegas was our next stop, he immediately connected us with a concierge there, which was thoughtful and extremely helpful. We hope the issues mentioned are addressed and that those who made our stay special receive the recognition they deserve. We look forward to returning.
