Excellent hotel and the attention of all the staff is very professional and super humane.
The hotel is very good and our room was excellent!! The restaurant is top-notch, with gourmet dishes and excellent service. But the most important thing to highlight was the attention of all the staff and their human quality. Especially Lorena, Jimmy, and Freddy. The restaurant waiters were all excellent (I regret not remembering more names). Truly an excellent experience.

Great experience.
Everything very clean, attentive staff, restaurant with a wonderful menu and food, rich and varied breakfast, and as a bonus a beautiful view of the lake and a beautiful sunset.

Paul is a superstar!
What an experience and I was only buying a GNT?! Paul the barman was brilliant. He brought the glass and ice separately, offered a taste from the shot glass of the local gin, and then poured the tonic in with a magic trick I've never seen before!! A credit to the profession and the hotel!

Lovely service at a dated hotel
The hotel is spacious with lovely staff and cozy fireplaces. The view from my room was spectacular looking out to Lake Titicaca. The sunrise was phenomenal. The service is excellent, and the food quality and presentation are great. The breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want. The hotel is outside of town, and you need a taxi to get there. Two reasons why I gave it 4 stars: Rooms are dated, they need to be renovated, carpets, upholstery, bathrooms… Everything including the coffee maker. They have a teakettle, not acceptable for coffee lovers. The bathroom had a vinyl shower curtain that I hadn't seen in years, the tub had a roll-on mat to avoid slipping, and the water basket was also an antique plastic thing. They had all the expected amenities but certainly not a 5-star bathroom. We went for breakfast at 8 o'clock on our last day, and the buffet table was a bit disorganized, cereal mountains were under the dispensers, and in general, it looked untidy. Maybe this is the only 5-star hotel in this region, but certainly a renovation is needed.

Wait staff service
Service - Jesus, one of the wait staff, was very personable, pleasant, professional, and had a great memory for what I had ordered the day before. Jesus is an asset to your hotel and is definitely a keeper!

Lovely stay but time to refresh the hotel to return to its former glory.
The hotel rooms and aspects of the common areas are very dated and really need a refresh. This would very much return this hotel to its former glory. That said, the hotel was super clean, the beds comfortable with quality bedding, they had robes, tea and coffee making facilities, and the most spectacular views of the lake. The food was good, and the staff were super helpful.

Quick visit
The hotel was clean, and everyone was friendly and accommodating. We had an unexpected airline change, and late check-out only goes until 12 pm unless you pay extra. However, we were able to stay in the hotel until our shuttle to the airport arrived. The hotel is rather secluded, and if you need anything (like medicine), it is a taxi ride, and the taxi situation in Puno is not as accommodating as other tourist cities. There is not a small store with necessities or snacks on-site. The restaurant was good but busy in the morning. Everyone seems to be leaving at the same time. Dinner was good. The service at dinner was excellent. The hostess and waiters were incredibly attentive. We were served by David one evening, and he anticipated our needs before we did.
