Riva Hotel The Hague

In the middle of the night loud vehicle noises, cleaning of a street with sweeper and garden blowing devices. Second night wild motorcyclist passing by, the soundproofing of the windows is poor, therefore very loud at night with heavy car traffic. Room is fine, staff polite. There is no possibility to get a drink outside the hotel in the vicinity, no bar or other place to stay except the hotel room available in the hotel.

Service super, hotel room clean and beds are comfortable

The worst stay of my life so far. Very rude customer service and their beds are broken and the hotel stinks like fish. Very dirty and the ventilation is bad, all the smell from the kitchen is everywhere in the whole hotel. It’s not recommended at all.

Good hotel, close to The Hague

A reasonably priced hotel, close to the business areas where I wanted to be

Hello. The staff was very nice and could help with problems. The condition of the rooms was very good. Rooms were clean except for a few small things. With public transportation nearby, you can easily get to The Hague center, and also to the beach, takes about 35 minutes with tram number 1. To the center, the tram takes about 25 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the tram stop. We cannot comment on the food in the hotel itself as we did not book it. 17 euros per person for breakfast. Everyone has to decide for themselves if it's worth it. In the room itself, there is a very small refrigerator. We used it all the time 😊 All in all, it was a nice stay, we would book the hotel again and again. Oh yes, a great plus point is that the parking in front of the hotel is available for free. Unfortunately, parking in Holland is extremely expensive from my point of view.

Near Delft

Hotel was very clean, modern and staff were very friendly. There is a very fancy restaurant on site as well but we did not eat there. Surrounding area seemed industrial but was a quick trip to the center of Delft for restaurants and shopping.

Overall everything was great - unfortunately, the air conditioning was not adjustable, but centrally controlled, which made it too cold in the evenings. It is also a pity that the windows cannot be opened.
