The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the sea. The quiet little street it’s on is one of the most pleasant spots in Canggu. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are incredibly friendly.

- • I’ve stayed here over 10 times in three years, and this is my first bad review. The hotel facilities are badly aged. On my last few stays, I switched multiple rooms with zero hot shower water — this is totally unacceptable. Staff told me only Room 206 and 306 had hot water, but they were occupied. I had to shower at the spa, which smelled terrible of mould. The spa shower drain was clogged, so I stood in dirty standing water to wash. My room’s shower drain was also blocked. My current room has four major problems: no hot water, a bathroom door that takes huge effort to close, clogged shower drain, and loose wall switches that pose an electric shock hazard. I’ve reported these faults to staff many times; they said they’d inform management, but nothing has been fixed for a whole year, especially the hot water issue. It’s sad to see this once-great hotel fall into disrepair. I hope management values guests’ feedback and fixes all these problems properly. I would love to return once everything is improved.
Great location, but with significant potential for improvement
The reception and the staff are very warm and attentive, each employee makes a great effort and one gets the impression that everyone enjoys working here. The location is excellent, just a few meters from the beach. The restaurants are within walking distance. Noteworthy is the breakfast, which is rich and varied.

- • Unfortunately, our villa was showing its age and in need of renovation. The pictures did not correspond to reality in our view. The bathroom was heavily calcified, the shower head was defective, and the overall equipment was outdated. Even the towels were partly stained and worn. During our stay, there was also construction noise. In our opinion, some villas were being renovated, which is generally positive as renovation seems urgently needed. We also found the situation at the pool somewhat annoying. The sunbeds must be reserved, as the pool area can also be used by external guests for a fee. Unfortunately, we had the impression that external guests were sometimes given preferential treatment in the selection and allocation of sunbeds.

- • Nothing wrong with the property but the room was a little impractical. No hooks for hanging towels/hats etc, few places to put your clothes, no full length or even 3/4 length mirror, the bathroom mirrors were too high (for my wife), the safe was too low in the bottom of a cupboard, and we had a constant leaking basin which they tried to fix 4 times
Boutique hotel in the center of Canggu
The location is ideal, on the main street of Canggu and a few meters from the beach. I would also like to highlight the treatment of Ariana and Rey, who not only recommended several local sites but also organized a sunrise excursion for us.

- • Very tired and run down, pictures online didn't match the current state of the buildings and decor. No afternoon sun by the main pool or our villa pool (gone by about 11am) No privacy in our villa pool (on show to the whole hotel and main pool) also construction going on at the next premises which meant the workers could see directly into our bathroom and toilet from 7am till 5pm everyday. We did not feel comfortable using the villa during the day plus the noise of the construction was also not very relaxing. Drinks and food menu were limited. Was generally underwhelmed by the whole experience
