A lovely stay
Perfect location, beautiful hotel, super comfy beds, wonderfully appointed and quiet rooms. Some of the staff were exceptional - William in particular was so smiley and friendly and so helpful when we asked him for advice on where to go and what to do. What a joy he was!

We loved everything! The design, the location, the view from the room and the breakfast. The service was extraordinarily. Alexandra was amazing, she helped us with a problem we had and was so efficient and caring. We’ll never forget our wonderful stay, thank you so much!

Would totally stay there again!!
Location was great. Near the river and the action but still quiet. And the staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Made dinner reservations for us. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety.

A very enjoyable stay with a room overlooking the river.
The breakfast was buffet and a good choice. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location close to the river and ideal for getting around. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

- • The Bathroom had unfinished walls that looked like a GARAGE for CARS.
We had a room with an exceptional view of the Douro (room 16). Despite the fact that the glass of our door was broken, we were offered a bottle of wine as an apology. It didn't change the fact that we could still go out on our beautiful terrace and relax while looking at the Douro.

Ideal for two nights away in Porto
There was a lovely variety of items for breakfast and the staff on at breakfast were efficient and helpful. Our room was great and very clean. The hotel location was ideal for walking everywhere.

- • Although the room's view was excellent it was quite noisy from the traffic outside. There were a couple of members of staff during the day who didn’t seem to know much about the local area and couldn’t offer much in way of recommendations/knowledge which seemed a shame.
