- • Several issues from the start. Shower had no pressure, the room light was not working, the safe was faulty and needed repair, there was moss in the bathroom and the sink was broken. Cleanliness was a rarity. We reported the issues the night we checked in, but had to re-report in the morning only to get the things partly fixed. For the entire duration of our stay, the water pressure in the shower head was terrible. We thought the swimming pool would be a worthwhile experience but realised that it was a failure after only single use. The hot tub was so small and could not accommodate enough people. There was a swimming lesson being conducted in a hotel when the guests would struggle to use a small pool. Locker rooms were terrible and showers in changing rooms (men and women) were broken. The shower pressure in the swimming area was good but hope you don't expect us to walk naked around the hotel to take a shower in that area? Even though the swimming area was small, half of the shower areas were broken. We had to keep reporting the issue with water pressure and staff kept saying they will see if they can change our room. Yet nothing was done and we had to continue staying in that room and kept moaning. We had to keep chasing and instead did not get a prompt update during the stay. It is a shame to be treated in this manner. The default room cleaning is every 3 days; but at check-in we were promised that it will be cleaned daily. We had to keep reminding every morning to do the same as it did not get cleaned on the first day despite earlier requests. Our car got keyed and paintwork destroyed in the car park. We have filed a police case. I have the videos and pictures which I showed to the receptionist at checkout, who agreed that this should not have been the case and said that our room should have been changed instantly! Yet nothing was done

A pleasant stay
Everything was fine. All the staff were very nice and helpful. It was good to be able to eat at the bar after a long journey. The room was clean and quiet. We spent one evening at the leisure centre, which was okay for a short visit, with a nice, hot sauna. The location is good, close to a train station and next to a bus stop with the Air Link service to the city centre and the airport.

- • The pool area is a bit tired. Particularly the changing rooms are very small and cramped. Everything else was fine, though.

- • £30 for a small dog for 1 night in a small room with 3 uncomfortable beds. Dog bed was more comfortable! Poor shower pressure and cold water. On top of that, a nasty smell in the room, for which we were given a can of air spray and advised to open the window!
