Hotel Derby Barcelona

Beware of their reservation policy. It’s not nice.

Be CAREFUL. We booked a full week but made a mistake and needed to make the first day of that week ONE DAY LATER. The hotel would NOT provide any kind of refund. Would not even provide a breakfast. Instead they are taking that one day when we won’t be there, charging us, and that’s that. Shocked really.

Very recommended hotel in Barcelona

We enjoyed the hotel because it’s clean, it has professional employees and the room was very confortable. Near from buses that connect you to all parts of Barcelona.

Derby Hotel Barcelona.

I stayed for 4 nights here in September 2025. The location was very good , secure , calme & near to famous Diagonal street and just 10 minutes walk to metro station. Specially the staff were amazing/Javi at the reception was very kind and really a great help.I recommend this to everybody and will stay again there for 100 percent sure

Excellent and good value .

We had a great time at the Derby Hotel. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Hotel is ok, more like 3 star than 4 star as advertised. Wifi was down a portion of our stay when we needed it the most, the safe was not working, telephone in the room was also not working. No compensation from the hotel

Very polite staff! The rooms were cleaned every day and the reception desk staff were always willing to support! The canteen staff were also extremely polite, especially Osman!

Helpful and attentive staff

Absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful! We felt right at home. The staff helped us by giving suggestions and reviewing a map of the city which was so helpful! This hotel and their staff was truly one of the highlights of our Barcelona trip!

Xigua Limited

I booked this hotel on Booking.com, but through a partnered company called Xigua Limited. My stay at the hotel was fine and everything was fine with the reservation. However, I did not receive the invoice when I checked out, but I had to wait a month for it to arrive from this partner company. When I received the invoice, it did not have an invoice number that matched the Booking Number (which is highlighted on the receipt I received from Booking), and the payment currency was in CNY even though everything was paid for in euros. Also, the full address of the hotel was not on the invoice, nor was the address of my company to which I asked for the invoice to be addressed. I contacted Booking, but they were of no help. I will never book a hotel through such partner agencies again, because Booking has no control over what happens, and I myself could not be in direct communication with them. The hotel is rather a 3-star hotel, and I only stayed one night, so it was ok, even though it was overpriced. I don't think I would book it again. Everyone was very kind.
