Does what it says - a comfy bed, clean with a good shower, towels and toiletries. Central position. Stayed only one night so good for what we wanted a bed for the night late check in and early start.

For emergencies
Room under the roof, no air conditioning, a fan that ventilates nothing or almost nothing. No outlets near the bed. Very small bathroom with a tiny shower, difficult to get in. The shower water does not flow continuously, you have to press a push button. No water fountain in the establishment, nor a bottle of water, even though it was 38°C. No breakfast, you have to go to the café restaurant next door, so very expensive for what is provided. The reception ladies were friendly.

350€ for that room is definitely extremely high but Paris was packed that day so had to deal with it.

Poor Quality/Price ratio
The hotel is out of date, with damaged walls, unfinished parquet flooring and a bit dirty in places. The only lighting in the room was too bright, and there was no bedside lamp. The bathroom sink was half blocked and the shower jets were too powerful (very, very unpleasant). The reception in the evening was very good, the person was nice, but the next day another person was rather cold. The photos on the website are misleading. You can find much better accommodation for the same price in Paris in the same area.

Mediocre hotel without charm but well located!
Hotel without charm with quirky and quite degraded decor. Well located near Place de la République. Not very comfortable bed, cramped room with symbolic desks, very narrow shower that excludes tall people. Room not too noisy but too expensive for a Single at 150€!
