Great cost-benefit ratio!
Good location, super comfortable bed, with excellent sheets and pillows. Very generous a la carte breakfast.

Very comfortable king-size bed, but nothing special about the rest
It was just a quick stop because we arrived late in Santa Marta by plane. The room was very spacious and the king-size bed enormous, but the hotel lacks charm and the staff is absolutely unprepared. The breakfast on the top floor is mediocre and what they call a pool is little more than a tub on the roof. Santa Marta in general is not worth more than a couple of hours, don't waste time and head straight to Tayrona Park, which is fabulous!

Not what we expected, but still exceptional
The hotel is exceptional, no doubt. It is located in the middle of the forest and is hardly comparable to a regular accommodation. The pool is beautiful. We were a group of three friends and maybe not quite prepared for what awaited us.

- • The hotel informs in a message that the arrival is not easy (either a taxi or 4x4 is recommended). However, the experience does not correspond to a 5-star hotel as it is sometimes advertised. It is more of a decent eco-lodge in the middle of the jungle of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. So, if you expect a cozy, easily accessible, spotlessly clean hotel, you are in the wrong place and should perhaps stay in Minca (downtown), where the view is sometimes even better. From here, you can only hike, all other things (beach, Minca, restaurants) are far away!
