The hotel is really nice, quirky with the theme of a museum, and very tasteful. Staff were fantastic - room service was absolutely amazing. Pool area is really nice, on the roof. I would stay here again without question if they sort out the booking process!

- • Gym is small (though quiet and nice!) and not sure the sauna in the gym was working. Biggest downside is the way they take payment when booking - instead of taking payment through booking.com (platform that is trusted, simple) you need to click a random link and pay. My bank flagged multiple times as fraud, so it took 3 calls to my credit card just to get this paid. A really poor customer experience for a 5* hotel. I phoned hotel and asked to pay over the phone or at check in - was told no, I had to use the link. Booking.com themselves state that payment through third party links is not good - it opens up customers to fraud, but also just the hassle of trying to pay when MULTIPLE simpler methods exist!

Hotel Claris stay
The Hotel Claris was a wonderful place to stay during our trip to Barcelona. The staff is exceptional, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning a delicious start to the day. The location is perfect and centrally located to many sites around the city. We look forward to a return trip!
