- • Hidden fees. We had to pay a tax for the public baths that we did not use. As for the food, good preparation and good service, you will be bombarded with several dishes in large quantities but the quality does not match the price we pay.
I was completely satisfied with the trip to Hakone Onsen with my parents and I want to come back with my siblings next time

1. Delicious food, very good service. 2. The late-night ramen was unexpectedly delicious. 3. Free yukata provided, making me feel more immersed in Japan. 4. The hotel is small but very quiet and clean, you can walk around in socks only, very Japanese-style

- • Although the hotel is not far from the station (5 minutes), the steep slope made me catch my breath for a while
The best‼️ I had a very luxurious time!
The open-air bath in the room was comfortable with hinoki wood. The free drinks and ice after bathing, and the service is wonderful. The meal was a course and dinner took a long time, but it was very delicious and satisfying.

- • I felt sorry to have the staff bring out my shoes when going out. The location is on a steep hill, making it difficult for elderly people to walk.
Stunning, beautiful, relaxing, thoughtful are the words I’d use to describe my stay.

- • They promised a Vegan breakfast via email well in advance but said it was not possible once we checked in. They need to be a bit more flexible. They should print a leaflet on etiquette while using the public baths for novices - that will help if they want more international guests.

What could we say, this was out of this world, staff, food, location, and facilities were amazing. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

- • Was unable to get a reservation for dinner once we had checked in. It would have been nice to have been advised to book in advance, this was the only negative.
A fantastic experience.
The rooms were very comfortable and so were the beds. Everything was kept very clean. The meals were also excellent.

- • The walk uphill to the property is hard if you are with elderly people or those with mobility issues.
I’ve stayed here twice now and love it every time!
The staff were exceptional, dinner and breakfast are unmatched. Facilities are wonderful! Loved the open bar!
