The best place to stay in Barcelona — and we mean it
Four nights at the InterContinental Barcelona, and we would have gladly stayed four more. Everything about this hotel delivered, from the moment we checked in to the moment we reluctantly checked out. Breakfast was excellent — a great way to start each day before heading out to explore the city. The location is spot on: well-connected, convenient, and perfectly placed for both sightseeing and dining out in the evening. But the real showstopper is the rooftop bar. The views, the atmosphere, the drinks — it all comes together beautifully. We ended up there every single evening, and honestly it never got old. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall a little more in love with Barcelona with every visit. Service throughout was seamless and the overall feel of the hotel is sophisticated without being cold. It’s a place that genuinely takes care of you. If you’re planning a trip to Barcelona and wondering where to base yourself — stop wondering. The InterContinental is simply the best place to stay in the city.
