Recommend this hotel
The bed was really comfortable and the 1 bedroom apartment was lovely and clean with balcony. Updated and modern amenities with spare pillows and blankets. Lovely kitchen with everything you need including coffee pods, kettle, toaster ECT. Rain shower and hand held shower head, robes and slippers. Staff were amazing, great buffet breakfast and if you book directly with the hotel the parking is free otherwise $18 a night if booking with 3rd party Will definitely stay at this hotel every time we are in Canberra. Also the price per night is great especially given how good the hotel is.

- • The air conditioner in the room didn’t work, but reported issue and it was fixed. However there was some dust left on the table.

- • I booked this hotel for a very special occasion, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. After settling into our first room late at night, we discovered a bug in the bed, which immediately made us uncomfortable and concerned about the possibility of bed bugs. To the hotel’s credit, the receptionist initially accommodated us with a room change. However, the second room had its own issues. The lighting situation was terrible — the room was either completely pitch black or overly bright, and the bedside lamp did not even have a bulb in it. After multiple attempts to make the room comfortable enough to sleep in, I contacted reception again around 4 a.m. Instead of handling the complaint professionally, the staff member became dismissive and rude, repeatedly going back and forth with me rather than simply acknowledging the issue and escalating it appropriately. What should have been a memorable and enjoyable night turned into hours of stress and frustration. We did not end up sleeping until 5 a.m., and our plans for the following morning were completely ruined due to lack of rest. Overall, the condition of the rooms and the customer service we received were far below expectations, especially considering the amount paid for the stay.

Everything. Bed comfortable, breakfast was excellent and a beautiful hotel to stay in. Best value for money in Canberra. I usually stay at the Hyatt but thought I’d give this one a go. I’m usually greatly disappointed when I do. But not this time. Will definitely stay there again.
