- • The room is very tired, the line between authenticity and literal old age with a strong bias towards the latter. The room is dark, the bathroom is decorated in a creepy red style and very cramped - by the third day, it really starts to bother. All cosmetics in the bathroom are old, with a smell of naphthalene. The mattress is worn out, impossible to sleep. Asked for a replacement - instead, they tried to put something under it 🤷🏻 this didn't help the situation at all. In the luxury room, sleeping half-sitting due to the deep sag in the mattress - not a great experience. In general: a hotel with a history, but it's clearly time for a renovation, 100%. The neighboring Danieli was fresher, but it is currently undergoing a complete renovation.

- • Breakfast used to be more diverse. I find it somewhat exaggerated that with room rates of over €700, you are charged again for eggs, etc. The prices in the bar are totally exaggerated. We have been coming to this hotel for 20 years and now we believe we will look for something new!

Elegant surroundings and quiet even though right next to Zacharia stop... Easy access to Alilaguna stop! Lovely apple cake on one day for breakfast...

- • Except for apple cake, breakfast was acceptable but not memorable - and no arugula salad [one of my favorite things about Italian breakfast buffet]...
