- • Disappointed the bar was closed when we returned to the hotel after a college dinner, I thought hotel bars stayed open for guests. Possibly the hotel requires more than 2 lifts. It was quite busy at times. A few niggles with room. A light bulb on bedside table not working, it was sorted but you would think housekeeping would check lights as part of the cleaning process. Also the curtains were not hanging properly and couldn’t be completely closed. There were a number of curtain hooks missing, they were drooping and looked quite old and tired. Not a major issue but a niggle all the same.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel right in the center of Cambridge. The location is excellent, and having parking available was a big plus. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a huge bathroom and thoughtful touches throughout. It was very well equipped, and we especially appreciated the little details. The welcome mini cakes and the complimentary brandy in the room were such a nice surprise. We only stayed for one night, so we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, but we would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. A special mention to the team, they were absolutely lovely. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole experience even better.
