Very friendly welcome, the owners are great ambassadors of their region. Clean and comfortable room. Very good breakfast.

Guest room for exploring Gaillac and Albi
I found this to be a traditional guest room, where you don't feel like you're in a hotel but rather a guest in the owners' house. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive to Albi, a small city well worth exploring.

Very easy to access, particularly welcoming staff. I recommend without reservation to all those who want to combine calm and comfort.

We were welcomed very kindly. Very nicely decorated, clean room. Extremely pleasant hosts and an exceptionally good breakfast with lots of homemade items!

We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (heatwave), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. Breakfast outside in the shade of trees and the company of other guests and our hosts was delightful. Croissants, bread, homemade jams and cake, as well as freshly made crepes.
