An impressive hotel with a great lounge, although with some minor drawbacks in the rooms.
The lounge on the 31st floor overlooking the harbor is incredible, very diverse and varied in its offerings. This is definitely worth booking.

- • Our room smelled a bit musty. The tables placed there are very massive and block the room a bit. The beds are okay. However, with the twin beds, you can clearly feel the movement of your partner. It would also make more sense to have two separate duvets. The bathroom can only be separated with a small roller blind.
The food and the room were impeccable. The staff were friendly but not intrusive. Everything was immaculate. The club lounge had stunning views and a small but very impressive buffet. We had a corner room with a double harbor view and it was worth every penny. The kids slept well on their roll-out beds. The breakfast was outstanding in terms of choice and quality. There are two metro stations and the Star Ferry at Wan Chai within a 5-minute walk, so we could easily go anywhere, but the immediate surrounding area itself is more business-oriented than leisure, making it feel more relaxed and peaceful than, for example, Central. The pool is large and gives a real resort feel in the heart of HK. It was a dreamy stay!

- • My only complaint would be the constant cigar smoke that blew into the pool area. Very hard to exercise while inhaling the fumes from the bars at both ends of the pool and not great for kids!

Exceptional location with superb harbor view. Very accessible, with options of a city rush dive or a quiet seafront walk. We have seen a lot during our one-week stay, but I’m sure Hyatt is my only option to come back to because of the unique combination of luxury and location. The pool-spa-fitness area is fantastic, great service. And a tennis court!

- • The regular room is quite small for an extra bed due to some excessive furniture in the room; ours had to be stationed directly perpendicular and adjacent to the master bed. But for that, you get a sofa right by the panoramic window to enjoy your morning coffee with a spectacular view. No regrets.
