Delicious, light, and fun
Very delicious breakfast and courteous staff. Real 'Hamburgers' at the bar. Everything went without any special events.

Fantastic, magical - we will come back even without Harry Potter!
We traveled to Hamburg for the Harry Potter theater over the weekend and were really pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was one of the cheaper offers and yet it felt like a 5-star hotel. I would like to emphasize that there was always free water available, both in the lobby and in the rooms. That should be standard everywhere, and it was implemented here. The rooms were surprisingly well insulated even though we were right by the highway. The bathroom was modernized and very pleasant. The service was truly excellent. However, the buffet was not very varied and the quality was rather average. The bar and restaurant staff stood out for their friendliness. It was also very pleasant to sit at one of the larger tables in the bar and play cards.

- • Unfortunately, it was not indicated that there was glutamate in one of the soups, which should absolutely be standard nowadays. This led to an allergic reaction, but I was repeatedly asked if I was feeling better.

- • The staff we met at check-in and check-out clearly had not been at work on the days when the staff had received customer service training. It was much more important to talk to each other, sit on a bench outside and smoke cigarettes than to help the guests who needed help. The breakfast was mediocre and not at all up to what the hotel chain usually does.
