Despite a few details to improve, the stay was perfect.
Excellent breakfast and half board dinner varied and well cooked. Meals in a very pleasant setting. The staff is very smiling, always ensuring our comfort. Room with a beautiful balcony, pool view, quiet, well arranged. Ideal bedding. Beautiful pool with sun loungers and outdoor lounge.

- • Limited storage in the room for a long stay. Bathroom okay but a bit old-fashioned. Cleaning is not always perfect (hair, sand...). Parking for cars is complicated but you can manage to park. A typical Greek meal would be a plus.
We stayed at this hotel for two days before going on a cruise. Keep in mind that 5 stars in Greece do not actually correspond to 5 stars in other countries. The staff was very friendly and the lobby and restaurant were clean. We saw the pool but did not use it. We have stayed in great hotels and as mentioned, on cruise ships, so we know a thing or two. For us, there were already some flaws, especially for 5 stars. It was not cheap.

- • There are almost no sun loungers at the pool. Therefore, you can't really lie down, which was a problem for us during our two-day stay. Many people write about a great pool. Unfortunately, it was nothing special. Just a pool. We booked a triple premium room. Do not rely on the pictures as everything looks big. If we had to stay there with three people for a longer time, we would have been desperate. Not 21sqm and just extremely small. No storage space for things. None. A small closet, nothing else. How are three people supposed to exist there? We had to constantly take our things out of the suitcase. And the best part, where to put the suitcases? Doesn't work for three people. Not even for two. We were very disappointed and thankfully only stayed there for two days. The room was clean. The balcony floor was covered with long hairs from other people. But the size of the room and no closets at all is unacceptable and certainly not 5 stars.
The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The staff is very kind and always ready to help. The city center is within walking distance.

- • The swimming pool and the surrounding area are too small considering the size of the hotel and the number of guests. Unfortunately, on the last evening of my stay, I had a very unpleasant experience. While having dinner in the restaurant, a group of Greek men arrived and spoke extremely loudly, showing no consideration for other guests. They repeatedly and loudly demanded to watch football and behaved rudely and vulgarly towards the staff. This kind of behavior seriously disturbed the otherwise pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. In my opinion, the hotel should handle such situations more firmly to ensure the comfort and peaceful experience of all guests.
The service was excellent. The staff was always friendly, smiling, and very communicative. They were extremely approachable and helpful. We really enjoyed the pool, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. We have nothing but praise and would definitely recommend this place!

Galaxy is perfectly located near the center of Heraklion.
The hotel offered a variety of delicious breakfasts. The rooms are spacious and the facilities are convenient. Love the outdoor setting next to the bar - perfect for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.
