It was the last hotel of our trip and it allowed us to finish our journey in the best way. Very good location in the city, the neighborhood is quiet and very pleasant to walk around day and night. The hotel is beautiful and it has the largest rooms we had during our entire stay. The price may seem high compared to other hotels, but it's worth it.

Great boutique hotel central to all sights and activities.
We loved Hotel Gion Ichirin! The historic details but modern touch made for a memorable stay. The fact that it was also in a prime location in the Gion area was fantastic. We appreciated being in close proximity to all the action but still able to find solace and quiet when needed. It is a quick walk to all the major shopping, food, and historic areas. The massage chair in our room was put to use daily! The staff were all so great and welcomed us! Highly recommend as your option in Kyoto.
