The price was affordable and close to the railway station.

Didn't take pets. The only problem was getting into the hotel at night as the plane was delayed. There was no coffee machine on site, but the lady was very helpful and ordered us a taxi. The girl helped us get food.

The first stay was more than acceptable and initially rated 5 stars generously. But on the second stay, the room, despite being advertised as a room with a city view, was just a room with a courtyard view on the ground floor. I'm not one for drama, but the fact that I wanted to rest and couldn't was an important enough factor to change my review. The lady at the office was speaking so loudly that I could hear every word. The TV sound was poor, and that's a big no from me. Sorry Hotel Tranzzit. :(

Professional service, lovely stay.

A basic room in Bucharest

We arrived at Hotel Tranzzit early afternoon and with our zero knowledge of Romanian managed the check-in process with no problems. The room was spacious and clean with a sofa, beds, wardrobe, TV, and aircon. The window was broken and wouldn’t close but wasn’t an issue in the 39° heat… We booked B&B but when we asked about breakfast we were told to ‘go to the market’. This was a bit annoying as there are no coffee making facilities on site either. The area is fine, a little run down but that would describe most of the city! There is a wonderful park close by which is great for visiting anytime of the day. Lots of quality takeaways close by and a couple of supermarkets. There is parking on the street outside for anyone hiring a car (for a small fee online), there are buses locally and the station is only a 10 min walk away. We just used the room as a base for our holiday, and left part-way through our stay to go visit Braşov and Sibiu for a few days returning for a night before flying home. If you’re looking for a basic room, you’ll have no problems here.

I had a wonderful stay here. I arrived by train, and the hotel is close to Gara de Nord. It is also a 20-minute walk from the Old Town with a bank and supermarket nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. I could rest well here. Can highly recommend! :)

Nice little hotel

Exceeded my expectations by far. Owners really take care of the property and obviously work hard to offer you the best and professional hotel experience. The only addition I could think of is a night table lamp as the upper lights are very bright.

Excellent! Very clean and comfortable

Located near the train station, easily walkable. Quiet and clean. We would stay here again for a short stay in the area.
