Good price, good accommodations, good location.
Booked this hotel for a girls trip. Was the best balance of price, accommodations, location. The staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean. It was less than 10 minutes from all major areas yet the block itself was quiet. Plenty of space, beds were comfortable, fridge was spacious. Greeted with the radio playing jazz. There is no bar on premises, but you can purchase wines, beers and buzzballs at the front desk. It is also attached to a Ruby Slippers for breakfast and lunch options. We arrived early and was able to leave our bags to explore and eat. Same with our departure, we left later than originally planned and was able to leave our luggage secured while we ventured out for our last hours. Would definitely stay again for any future Nola visits.

Excellent service
Situated in the heart of the city, close to Bourbon Street, restaurants, and shopping. Not to mention it is 15 mins from the cruise port.

Musty smell is a deal breaker
We chose this hotel due to the combination of its location, excellent reviews, and value pricing. We booked a king studio suite. As soon as you walk around the corner from reception, you are hit with an intense mildew smell, which was even more intense in our room. We didn’t ask to move to another room since we knew the hotel was fully booked for the weekend. We decided to just deal with it since we had prepaid the room. It ended up being a mistake because being in the room for any length of time made me feel sick. I am surprised that the reviews for the hotel are so high, and only a few of them mention the intense mildew smell. The location is fantastic and the staff were friendly. Housekeeping replaced towels and emptied trash every 3 days, which was fine for us. The room was clean, though sparsely furnished. It would have been nice to have a dresser or something for unpacking clothes. The shower temperature was hot enough, but the water pressure was very low.
