The hotel has a beautiful historic charm and an excellent location right across from Grant Park — perfect for sightseeing and walking to nearby attractions like the Art Institute and Michigan Avenue. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was comfortable and clean. It’s a great choice for anyone wanting a classic Chicago experience!

The in-room hairdryer did not work. The front desk said that they would have one delivered to the room. An hour later we checked out without ever receiving one. My wife was not pleased that her hair was not dry. Also, there was a mildew-type smell in the hall that drifted into our room. The room next to ours was undergoing repairs so it may have come from that room.
