Cozy Conifers
Breakfast was good and plentiful. Lovely small grapes from their own garden. Beds were good.

- • Quite far from the center. There was nothing to do in that area. Difficult to get taxis. Even calling had a long wait of about 20-30 minutes.

- • Tricky car parking at the rear but at least we had a space so that was fabulous.

- • Lack of space, could be remedied with small shelves, to place objects in the bathroom. Separate faucets are outdated and not functional at all.

- • TV didn't work. I couldn't get hot water in the bathroom sink.
Spacious and clean room. Friendly and attentive staff when informed of some issues we had with the fridge and poor fan. The place is within a 15-minute walking distance to the center of Haddington, which has cafes and restaurants.

- • It was very hot despite keeping the window open and being supplied a standing fan during the heatwave. The fan was of poor quality as it hardly blew any wind. We had to request a spare fan, which they had, but were told it was taken from the staff in the kitchen for use. We felt bad to hear this but equally could not cope with the heat. We assumed that a bed and breakfast would have a spare for emergency use in case one breaks or from an unoccupied room, especially during the heatwave. With the additional fan, the temperature was more bearable. The toilet kept making sudden loud unexpected noises, which was startling, but luckily could not be heard in the bedroom with the door shut. A warning about that would have been good. Our fridge was broken on arrival, but a quick fix - changing to another fridge unit was sorted, which was good.
Excellent structure in a quiet location.
Welcoming and kind staff. Not central but very close to the bus stop that goes directly to the center in 10 minutes. Extremely clean room.
