The Shangri-La in KL is a grand hotel offering excellent value and superb service.
Staff - amongst the best I have encountered anywhere. Cleanliness and standard of maintenance - excellent. Comfort - superbly comfortable bed and pillows. Room - well-furnished, well-equipped and quiet. Ambience - traditional rather than 'glitzy', but substantial and opulent. The Horizon Club - cannot be recommended highly enough.

A good hotel that does not strive to be the best of the best, but is simply comfortable and reliable.
- Excellent breakfasts, although on weekends it can be too crowded. Lots of different pastries, ice cream, a chocolate fountain where you can glaze fruits, in general, the child was happy. - Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. - Good location, can walk to klcc in 10 minutes. - Nice pool surrounded by trees. It is nice to be there and in our opinion, cozier than pools located on high floors of skyscrapers. - The gym is spacious, modern, and almost empty. - Good restaurants in the hotel. The Japanese one is expensive, but Arthur's is generally acceptable, with a nice Western interior, it was nice to have dinner there. - We arrived during Eid, every evening there was music and fun in the lobby.

- • - This is not a flaw, but a small remark. There was a small episode when some smoke appeared in the bathroom, we never understood why. The staff responded promptly, but they replaced the air conditioner filter, and apparently, due to its novelty, it smelled very intensively of air freshener all night, we even had to leave the door slightly open to ventilate. But the next morning it got better.
