Great hotel with garden and friendly staff
The hotel is located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and has an inner garden. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good; the breakfast area is a bit tight but because the weather was nice, we could sit outside. The garden is also open in the evenings so you can sit there quietly with your own drink. We walked to the city center in 20/25 minutes but there are also buses. Oxford is a nice city.

- • Nothing. The room is a bit dated but it is clean. The bed is typically English (as it turned out to be everywhere afterwards. ;-) ) ... too narrow for our liking (140/150 cm) but still slept well.
Lovely hotel accommodation with everything you need.
We were only in Oxford for two nights on our way through, but this little hotel was wonderful. The family room was very well maintained and very well equipped. Fridge, coffee machine & kettle. Plus a few complimentary drinks and cookies. The breakfast was also excellent compared to many other hotels. From a wide variety of fresh fruits, to muesli and classic English dishes, everything was there. The staff was also super nice. We particularly liked the lovingly designed garden with lots of seating areas and thanks to the good weather, we spent several hours here between sightseeing tours. We also really liked the monitor with the always up-to-date bus schedule. In addition, there is a selection of books and games. Although the location is a bit remote with a 25-minute walk to the center, we would stay here again anytime.

Good place for Oxford.
The hotel was perfectly suited for our needs as we were going to the Cherwell Boathouse. The room was clean and well fitted with quality towels and coffee. Breakfast was very good, in a most pleasant conservatory, with plenty of choice.

Room was big, with lots of spaces for everything you need and beautifully decorated. Our view was the yard and trees, so lovely to sit and look outside. It was clean and comfortable, mini fridge was very helpful and we appreciated the welcome treats. It was walking distance to the city, but also very close to bus stations. Breakfast was great, lots of options and it was really nice to sit outside. Staff were helpful and polite. Will definitely recommend and visit again!
