We would love to come back, but then by train, exchanging the parking fee for a train ticket!
the location is simply top-one can do everything on foot

- • the garage price - the car costs almost as much as the overnight stay but without service, was still dirty...
Great hotel - definitely again
Very nice staff at the reception and in the bar. Easy to reach by train (Rödingsmarkt station directly opposite) and on foot (close to Neuer Wall, Großer Burstah, etc.). Nice room.

- • The restaurant is certainly good, but to me it feels a bit uncomfortable because of its size. Also, the separation from the bar (occupying about a quarter of the large room) was not ideal in my opinion. I got a drink, but ended up drinking it in my room because I didn't find it comfortable downstairs. It doesn't affect my rating, but with manageable effort, it could definitely be made cozier and, especially for business meetings, a bit more "intimate".
Superb location and very clean

- • The staff and service do not correspond to the category. The room cleaning on the 1st day required 3 reminders. When I went to the reception for the 3rd time, quite upset, in the late afternoon, the manager was informed and I was promised some kind of compensation. They would come up with something for us. When checking out today, they knew nothing about it. The breakfast was okay in terms of variety. However, I find it critical that only one out of four staff members present is proficient in the German language. The breakfast offer was quite okay, although I have experienced a more extensive offer in 3-star hotels for less money. The breakfast items were not clearly labeled, neither the types of jam or yogurt, lactose-free milk, etc., nor were there any indications of the types of bread offered. When I asked about the types of bread (due to wheat intolerance), they could not provide me with information about the types. Normally, I always choose suitable rolls or bread for myself. However, I thought I could easily skip that in a 5-star hotel.
Recommended because of the location. If a perfect breakfast is important, there is room for improvement.
Location is absolutely perfect. Practically everything is within walking distance. The hotel has an impressive historical architecture. The room was very spacious and equipped with everything.

- • Difficult to store 2 suitcases - if you don't want to unpack. What is unacceptable: on weekends, there are often long waiting times for breakfast because there are not enough tables available and because guests from outside, who only come for breakfast, have priority. This should not happen at this hotel price. The breakfast is good and quite rich, BUT by no means outstanding. The breakfast staff is not sufficient in number and not attentive.
Nice location but at basement level
Central location and a nice large room.

- • It would be nice to be informed about which floors the different room types are on. We ended up in the basement and that's a bit disappointing for 2000kr per night.
