Ottoman's Life Hotel Deluxe

Reception staff weren't very welcoming on check in and check out. The whole hotel had a stale smoke odour about it. It wasn't as clean as I'd like. Location was very good. Lot of food options and transport. Pool and gym facilities were very good.

A very beautiful hotel with amazing staff. My congratulations to Oyduine (front desk) & Imen (Guest Relations) and all the staff in reception & security. The staff in the breakfast room were very polite and a pleasure to meet. Imen was just an amazing lady that we got to know and we would like her to be promoted as soon as possible? Cannot wait to go back to this hotel again. Larry & Lisa

Great place to stay need to enforce the non-smoking policy smoke smell in the elevator and stairs area

There were quite a few issues with the room that I was first placed in and along the way. But I have to admit as a team these issues were swiftly resolved. I want to recognize Seda for making sure my room was kept comfortable and tidy, and making my stay there such a pleasant one. Also, Sero was amazing making sure I was topped up with all which I needed to make my stay the best.

Hotel looks beautiful from the outside however it's not the same experience inside. The first day we arrived, there were lots of missing amenities. We complained about it for the whole day and were provided this the next day. The restaurant meal was terrible, ordered room service and had one of the worst food experiences in Istanbul, we had to call them multiple times to even order this food as they were not answering the phone. We did not carry the right USB and when we approached staff to help with this, they were trying to charge us more money and tried to give us an old USB while keeping the new one for themselves. Pool and spa facilities are not great either especially for couples. Overall it was not a stay I would recommend to couples.

The staff were attentive and supportive, but the bed linens in our room were not fresh, I pointed out the spilled liquid stain, and they quickly took action to address it. We experienced multiple power outages during our visit, which was irritating, particularly when it occurred while we were showering, plunging everything, including the alley, into darkness for several minutes. The front desk informed us that they have a generator, but it only kicks in after the power goes out, and there's nothing they can do since it's an issue with the city.

Rooms are large and clean. Great breakfast options. Very well-equipped gym, swimming pool, sauna, and Turkish bath.
