- • Gym facilities were not completely open. I would have appreciated a discount for spa service since we were flying all the way from the United States.
This was meant to be a treat for my partner's birthday, and we were disappointed with the experience.
The towels - very fluffy. Also, the view from our window was good, I do like a Melbourne city view.

- • Firstly, the facilities. I selected this hotel for the advantage of pool facilities. On arrival, I was told the pool was not available. Secondly, the shower was terrible, difficult to get the right temperature and there was little water pressure.
The Grand Hyatt is always a reliably great experience. We use the restaurant often, but this time we tried the bar/lounge for the first time for a coffee. It was so relaxing sitting in the comfy chairs, reading the newspapers provided and looking out on the streetscape (and the coffee was very good!). The rooms are always wonderful, with or without a river view, and the staff, exceptional. I don't think you can find a similar level of quality or convenience at this price point elsewhere in Melbourne.
