Personal was very nice, breakfast was good, great location and our dog was also very welcome. The hotel, for what it used to be, is a bit run down and in need of renovation, the tiles on the terrace were partially coming loose, neither the pool nor the sauna that used to exist, the lobby very dark and the elevator creaked on every ride to the 7th floor, that you were glad when the doors opened... But we could sleep very well and also highly recommend it to dog owners...

Once you get to know the city a bit and know how far everything is, then it's fine to walk. From the 'Hauptbahnhof' to the hotel is easily walkable. The first time we did it by taxi, afterwards we did everything on foot or by 'Hop on and Hop off'. It is a large hotel and a bit dated, but the service is great. We stay in a different hotel every month and considering the price for what is offered, it is more than reasonable. We had a great room on the 5th floor, clean beds, great pillows, and excellent mattresses. The bathroom was 'sparkling' clean every day. Breakfast is in the German style, abundant and tasty. Nothing but praise. The hotel is not expensive for what is offered. Nice bar area on the ground floor, taxi at the door, and the price is low for what is offered. ATM in the lobby and lovely seating areas at the bar/relaxation area.

- • The dirty smoking at the entrance. They should completely ban that. You walk through a cloud of smoke and it smells terrible. They should also do something about the website. They show a pool... but it's no longer there. What a shame missed opportunity. !!!

- • They changed the towels few times unless you explicitly asked or left them in the bathtub
