I was happy that they listened without making a face even to poor French pronunciation, and since the nuances are covered by translation machines these days, I didn't feel the inconvenience of language. I felt that the top-notch hotel staff doesn't embarrass the guests and the service was subtly warm and very comfortable. Even during the super weak yen period, I stayed for 3 nights at off-season prices, and I could easily ask for details such as cruise reservations and restaurant reservation time changes. I could enjoy the sea view from the room with a bathtub, the satisfying breakfast, and leisurely enjoy the red door classical elevator and the lovely artworks in the building.

- • The small corridor leading to the room, blistered paint. It sets the tone. The room, many details not worthy of an establishment like this. Interior of the wardrobe with torn covering, wardrobe door difficult to close, detached bathrobe hanger from the wall, damaged bathroom furniture legs, faucet leak from the shower to the toilet, chandelier with a candle and crooked lampshade... details that seem important to me in this type of establishment. I assume that the rooms assigned on Booking are those in the lower range of the establishment, a disappointing first experience of this kind in a high-end establishment (when booking on Booking). What a pity!
