Our third year to stay in Maritas and will be back next year. Loved everything
Spacious apartment with everything you need. Cleaned and towels changed every day except Sunday. Very friendly staff and nothing is too much for them to help you. Gardens and pool area spotless and well kept. Loved everything about Maritas

Excellent location right on the beach. Nice pool in the garden. Quiet atmosphere. Large apartment with private outdoor space that suited well for 3 generations traveling together. Very clean and orderly. Short distance to "everything" in Agia Marina, and the bus to Chania and Platanias stops right at the hotel.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were mediocre. Reasonably priced.
Staff were friendly and accommodating and provided useful advice prior to check-in, which was very much appreciated. Room was outdated but acceptable. Surrounding gardens were nice. Western Crete is beautiful, and this apartment provided a great base to explore from. Cheap and frequent bus which goes into Chania from outside the hotel (roughly every 30 mins and €2.20 per person one way).

- • Beach bar seemed deserted and abandoned. Room wasn’t exactly clean (dead cockroach under bed noticed when we were leaving). The room was outdated. The direct area isn’t the nicest place we’ve stayed in Crete.
Great stay at Agia Marina
Lovely place to stay. Everything was perfect. Our apartment was big and very comfortable. Very simple but at the same time has all what we needed. Swimming pool is amazing as well as the beach which is 1 min walk away from the apartment. The staff is simply perfect. Very special thanks to Elias; he was lovely and gave me really good advice.

Wonderful place! Clean studio, very clean pool, lots of greenery. Located right on the beach, daily room service, very nice and warm ladies, bed linen constantly changed. We could use the pool longer, and on the day of departure, while waiting for the night flight, still use the pool, toilets, reception, and parking. Everything 10/10.

- • There was construction underway in a building between the swimming pool and the beach, so had to walk through the site to get to the beach. The work area really detracted from the overall ambiance of the hotel - to be fair the hotel should have mentioned something about the work. When I shared this with the reception staff, the reply was simply "yes, it is a big problem."

Still a great accommodation, but with mixed feelings
Not the first time we've been here, we really liked it before, very good value for money, clean and tidy, well-equipped accommodation. The pool is also great, the water is pleasantly warm.

- • We were very satisfied with the bar/restaurant at the end of the garden, which was clean and tidy before, unfortunately, it was not working now, it was under "renovation", however, the mess (everything thrown around) that surrounded this part, the terrible state and dirty restroom were quite disappointing. If I had known this situation beforehand, I might not have booked here now. When it's finished, it will surely be great again, but for us, this was not possible in mid-June.
The garden and pool area were great. Also, the large outdoor space. Close to the very nice beach.

- • The kitchenette was very basic. You can cook on 1 gas burner and there were no good knives available.
