The hotel reception was very friendly, I reserved parking and the hotel staff took care of reserving my space at the entrance of the place.

For a few nights a fine stay, but critical of the room offered. reasonable price-k
The location was quite in a suburb of Izmir, with a very steep hill to climb to the metro. It was a reasonable base to explore the city. A very cozy and friendly city, with many restaurants and a very long boulevard. Also to visit the old city of Ephesus, about 80 km. The staff was generally very friendly. The lady who served breakfast was nice and attentive, although she did not speak English. As other reviews indicate, the breakfast was quite simple, but if you wanted an extra egg, or a cup of coffee and bread, it was brought right away. The breakfast had an excellent value for money. The beds were spacious and comfortable. Perfect for a few days.

- • We had three rooms. Indeed, a bit dated and two were definitely in need of renovation. One had a lot of black streaks in the bathroom on the tiles. But it was not mold, as stated by a staff member. One room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which came in through the ventilation. When booking, I had asked for rooms with a balcony. Two rooms could, the others were full. Okay, two then. Unfortunately, no rooms with a balcony!! That was disappointing. If we had known that we didn't have a balcony, we would have canceled the rooms. The hotel is located in a neighborhood with narrow streets. There is a parking garage. However, be aware that the car needs to be lowered by a lift with the help of a staff member. We had two cars, and it took quite a bit of time and hassle. There was always a staff member available to lower the car. Parking is manageable. Of the three rooms, one was decent, one was less so, and one was really bad. And no balcony, even though it was discussed. However, the price-quality ratio, the nice lady at breakfast, and reasonably good beds made up for it. Izmir is definitely recommended for a city trip. Quite different from Istanbul.
In summary, it was a comfortable and quiet stay. But the price was high, which is not

- • The price was very high for such accommodation. The air conditioning did not work well. Bedside lamp was broken. The room was dark. The shower head needs fixing.
On the third night of accommodation, we discovered they had bedbugs! Luggage compromised, clothes compromised, vacation compromised! We reported it to the reception and showed photos and videos, and they just said they were sorry and that they would close room 205 for a long time! And that's it! Some of the attached photos are screenshots from videos that I can't attach. I will definitely not return!
