- • The room was suffocating, the windows that couldn't be opened were very annoying. The lighting in the room was disturbing. I had specifically requested a single large bed before coming, but I was given two beds side by side and this was annoying. The breakfast was terrible. In the cheese country of the Netherlands, there should have been at least 10 types of cheese for breakfast, but here they had only one type, and it was so disgusting that it couldn't be eaten. The bathroom was tiny, there was nothing in the minibar except 2 bottles of water. There was a coffee machine and a kettle in the room, but there was neither tea nor coffee, I personally cannot stand places that are so stingy. I have no complaints about the staff, they were quite helpful but I will never stay here again 👎.
Excellent hotel in a great location
Stayed here 2 nights before heading off on a river cruise and very glad we did. This is an excellent hotel. Very good location, within walking distance to all the places you might want to go and a tram right out front if you need it. The staff are very professional and friendly, and the evening, free social events are a really nice touch. If you are joining a cruise at the central wharf, it's just a short walk away. We had a premium room with a king bed, and it was a really good size, quiet and very comfortable. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel because I have an allergic reaction to the costs of all hotel breakfasts, I think it was 30 euro a head here and there are good options nearby, we can recommend Mortimer as an excellent choice. All in all, really nice hotel and we would stay here again.

Highly recommended!!! Short walk from central station and lots of restaurants and shops. Right on multiple tram routes. Large room & bed. Plus EXCELLENT service (specially Lorena).

Great hotel within 5 minute walk of Centraal Station.
Room was spacious even when we added a roll-away bed. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
