- • I was given a double bill... they had to check with the cameras that I had paid correctly.

- • The check-in process was incredibly drawn out and difficult. The air conditioning in the room did not work, even after a technician came and "fixed" it. Very hot, almost no sleep.

- • Room was not ready by 3:00 PM (standard) and we were informed that it was 4:00 PM, so we had to wait in the bar. At 4:00 PM, it still wasn't ready. The Bellecourt Suite is the most expensive piece. Urgently needs complete renovation. Plywood walls, unhygienic carpet, bathroom an elongated architectural mess. Nespresso machine = YES, coffee capsules from a cheap supplier, quality = POOR. Coffee spoons made of cardboard wood - they used real spoons in the breakfast room with the result: even cheaper = stamped metal cutlery like in cheap restaurants in Greece, Mexico, or Asia. Actually, the whole hotel needs renovation. Price/performance did not match at all for the hotel and especially for the rooms.

- • Nobody explained the hotel's amenities. The website says dogs are allowed and usually pet accessories should be brought. It was not the case. Then the reception staff told us that the dog should stay with the owner at all times. At the same time, Sofitels do not allow dogs in dining areas. Plus, this is not in the hotel policies. Very weird. When leaving the hotel, the check-out at 6:45 am took us 35 minutes. We were alone. The receptionist kept forgetting everything and the valet parking person brought us the wrong cars. The excuse was that our car was in the back (?).
Central but needs a change in the rooms.
