- • A slightly larger pool would have been great. But the spa was absolutely top-notch as well. Great view of the Alster. You swim over Hamburg. Fantastic 👏 with an outdoor pool at 28 degrees. There was nothing that I didn't like. A great hotel with a lot of taste and great decoration by the florist. Not for nothing the hotel of the year 👏👏👏👏

The Fontenay is a luxurious hotel in a prime location in Hamburg. The rooms are amazing. Big windows, luxurious fittings, free mini bar. Very quiet. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The Breakfast restaurant is gorgeous and the breakfast choices are superb. The Spa area again is beautiful but I found it a little small. Other facilities in the hotel are also beautifully furnished and everything has a quiet and serene atmosphere

- • This is a luxury hotel which is reflected in the room price. I felt the prices for a night stay are comparable with other hotels of this class. What I didn’t like is the prices for food and drink in the bar. These prices are ridiculously inflated and would be one reason I might not stay in this hotel again.
