Affordable and comfortable lodging for multiple people
The bed was spacious and comfortable. It was close to Hokkaido University, and the morning walks were pleasant.

- • There was only a small desk, no space for family meals, having another folding table might be convenient.
Dirty Unpleasant Stay
The location was okay, less than 10 minutes to Sapporo Station. There was a separate room with a door to the bunk beds. They provided toothbrushes and ample towels.

- • The room was SO dirty, I was disgusted staying there because of all the visible dust. There were literal piles of dust bunnies next to the bed. The only outlet next to the bed didn't work properly. My phone literally lost batteries while charging. My blanket smelled bad and at one point the comforter revealed the blanket underneath and it was yellowed. There was duct tape holding together a rung on the ladder to the top bunk. There are warnings about backflow from the toilet to the shower which is vile. The bathroom smelled bad from the moment we got into the room. The bathroom fan is extremely loud. Only one elevator is available. There are no staff on site. You can't check in early or store luggage. The main bed's mattress was very uncomfortable and you could feel all the springs. The bunk bed mattresses were all so soft they felt like they were only mattress toppers. The rooms really don't get natural light unlike what the photos show. Although, the rooms say they can sleep a lot of guests, I don't recommend it unless everyone is packing super light because there's simply no space for luggage. Also, it's close to Sapporo Station but the road in front of the hotel is unpaved and unpleasant to navigate with luggage. Lastly, checkout was annoying too, I was forced to do in Japanese otherwise I kept getting an error. Any savings made with this hotel will be eaten up by storing things in the coin lockers at Sapporo Station if you arrive early or need to leave luggage late. Even if you have no luggage, save yourself the grief and just book a nicer place.

- • Small, difficult check-in
The best advantage is the distance from the station and cost-effectiveness
It is very close, about 450m walk from the north entrance of Sapporo Station! There is a convenience store right next to it, so you can go shopping immediately when you need something. There are many washing machines and dryers on the second floor, and the cost was cheap. There was a slightly shabby leather desk chair in the room, but it was surprisingly comfortable to sit on, so I used it conveniently while eating convenience store snacks and watching YouTube.

- • Since there is no counter, you need to know the check-in process well! As it is opposite the downtown area from Sapporo Station, you have to walk a long way to Nijo Market or Tanukikoji Shopping Street or use a train. One of the ladder steps on the second floor bed was broken and temporarily repaired with tape. There was no problem for one night, but it seemed that there could be a problem with consecutive nights. Since there is no counter, you cannot leave your luggage after check-out, so you need to use the lockers at Sapporo Station. Even if you have a backpack and one piece of luggage, it can fit into a locker for about 400 yen, so consider additional costs when choosing a hotel for business in Sapporo after check-out.
The location is the only good thing about the place.

- • The place was small and smelly, I was travelling with my parents who are old and it was not a comfortable experience at all. The check-in and check-out procedure though is on a tablet is a bit confusing.
Extreme deal
Incredibly cheap. But not shabby.
