- • I stayed at this hotel in and experienced serious issues with the security deposit policy. At check‑in, a sizeable deposit was taken from my debit card as an actual charge, not just a hold, with a promise it would be refunded within one month. Three months later, the deposit has still not been returned, despite my written request and the hotel’s assurance that they would “look into it.” A friend who stayed at the same time had an identical experience, which suggests this is not an isolated incident. In my view, charging large “deposits” that are not promptly refunded is unacceptable and appears unethical. I would strongly advise future guests to be extremely cautious about paying any deposit at this property and to document all charges carefully
