The owner Nickolaus is a great person and the hostel environment is wonderful and the animals there are cute, Aisha and África are the names of the cats. I loved the hostel and will return soon to enjoy nature.

I can't wait to return someday in the future.
I recently finished walking the Camino from Lisbon to Santiago and when I reflect back on all the many places I stayed, this was the highlight. Even though it's a bit off the Camino, it is more than worth the extra kilometer or two. The meal served was perfect, I never slept better than my night there, and I only wish I could've stayed an extra day or two. Anywhere you go on the property, you hear the beautiful sound of the waterfall with multiple pools where you can cool down and relax.

A quirky hostel with food and drink available and a waterfall to wash away the trail dust. Very rural setting.
