- • The photos have nothing to do with reality. It is the worst street in Lisbon that could be a hotel. As time passed, it got worse to enter the accommodation. As soon as we entered benformoso, we were followed and witnessed fights, they even fell in front of us. The rooms are on the 3rd and 4th floor without an elevator. Inside, the rooms smelled of mold, the sheets and towels were full of holes, the bed creaked, regardless of the fact that we felt nauseous, it definitely had either bedbugs or fleas. Everything inside was very narrow, we couldn't even hang a towel. The room on booking is presented as a suite, because we had a private bathroom but no kitchen. The things we had for a fridge were in a common fridge and we had a small box. The door was broken, anyone could come in and out. I have more photos but my page allows me only 4, to show how the 'hotel' looked from the outside.
Budget place in a fairly good location.
Located in a good location for sightseeing as everything is close by. Indian district with a large number of men on the streets but very safe. Plenty of shops and a variety of places offering meals. The hostel itself offers a well-equipped kitchen, coffee and tea available, and a common lounge for relaxation. Very helpful and friendly staff.

- • The hostel is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the tenement house, so if someone has heavy luggage, it is a challenge.
Good but unsafe location
Perfect little hostel with everything we needed. Bruno was really friendly and always available for questions (on WhatsApp when he was not at the hostel). Great bathrooms! Perfect amount of rooms so it was never too crowded, never needed to queue for the bathroom, etc.

- • Location: NOT to recommend FOR FEMALE TRAVELERS. The area is nice but the street of the hostel is crazy. A LOT of men on the street. As two women, we did not feel safe walking home, even during the day. The street is also very loud until 02:00 in the morning, even on weekdays.

- • According to the site, there was live music and everything, but I didn't notice anything (booking.com), or maybe that's only in the high season, but then they should mention that
