It’s a magical space in the middle of the old Medina. Loved every detail of it.

- • You should consider taking care of the people who work at the Riad, they’re really amazing staff, so professional and friendly.
More shabby than chic - better not book.
The location itself is beautiful, very spacious, very exceptional. The location is very central and easy to reach. Staff very friendly. Unusual furnishings.

- • Price-performance ratio no longer fits: Mattress worn out. Bathroom not nice anymore, lots of limescale, no light in the shower, not repaired, light switch defective. The biggest flaw of the accommodation, however, is elsewhere: you feel ripped off: high price for little service compared to other Riads in this price range. Only one bottle of water, at the table the bottle of water costs about 9 euros, no hairdryer, transfer 35 euros (usual is max 20 euros), allegedly Michelin chef serves inedible, reheated European food (Moroccan dishes were ok, although much too expensive), breakfast agreed at 7 o'clock arrived half an hour late, management not hospitable.
Magnificent stay.
Beautiful room. Charming staff. Very well located. This Riad is highly recommended.

- • There was a very lively party in the courtyard that went on until late at night and seemed very noisy in our room.
A hidden gem in Marrakech!
As soon as we walked in, we thought we were dreaming. The Riad was so beautiful, charming, and welcoming, to which the dim lights, the warm atmosphere, and the soft music highly contributed. We were offered mint tea and pastries next to the pool while checking in, so we felt at home straight away. We were shown around the Riad (the cellar, the library, the hammam, etc.), so perfectly taken care of, and then accompanied to our room, which exceeded our expectations. The pictures attached to this review show what we cannot describe with words. Steve, the owner, who introduced himself soon after we arrived, made the whole difference, since he is an amazing host! Not only did he make us feel at home, but we also enjoyed his company in the lobby-bar, where we had a pleasant moment talking to him about the history of the Riad, his life experience in Marrakech, and the Moroccan culture itself, while savoring excellent wine. The hi-fi system in the Riad was undoubtedly the most impressive one we have seen in our lives: the enveloping sound coming from tens of high-end Bang & Olufsen speakers, and the exquisite soundtrack, made the atmosphere magical. Breakfast was very good, served with love, as they say, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Special thanks to Aziz, the server, who was so helpful during all our stay, even offering a warm jacket in case we needed it for one of our excursions. He was so professional and kind. So was Miriam, his colleague, whose warmth and care we highly appreciated. We will be back next year and we highly recommend Riad Noir d'Yvoire to everyone, as it is a hidden gem, in the heart of the medina. We just loved it!
