Our Home Away from Home
We loved the guesthouse, the breakfast was wonderful, more than what we expected and the location was convenient and so safe. We took a walk down the street to a local art gallery and had a wonderful time and always felt safe. I sat in the garden and took photos of the wonderful wildlife just meters away.

Lovely place to stay
Sarah was great in communicating in advance and very helpful. The guest house is beautiful, especially the courtyard is a lovely place to rest. Room was big, clean and beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed and good breakfast!

Sarah and John are fantastic hosts. Lovely people. Breakfast is very good though a sausage would have been nice 😋. Lovely location central to everything. Clean well kept and a beautiful pool.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Newlands Guesthouse in Cape Town. We would like to highlight our host Sarah, who welcomed us incredibly warmly. From the first moment, we felt welcome and well taken care of. She took very good care of us, made us breakfast every morning, and was always helpful and full of good tips for our stay. The accommodation itself is rather small and not brand new, but that also has a certain charm. Everything was clean and tidy – even though you can tell here and there that the house is a bit older. However, for us, the atmosphere was the most important: personal, warm, and very hospitable. We felt almost at home. Those who value modern design and absolute perfection may find smaller points of criticism – but for us, the overall package was absolutely convincing. Thank you, Sarah, for this great time – we would come back anytime!
