- • Unfortunately, the outdoor terrace was smaller than in the other rooms (and as shown in the photos). And the bidet was missing in the bathroom.
Stress does not exist, kindness and availability reign in every citizen of Tropea.

- • It is a room with an outdoor kitchen on the terrace in front of the room. The terrace faces a public parking lot where chickens and other poultry are kept, there are many feathers around, and the animals also come to the terrace. When we arrived, a chicken had just pooped in our kitchen. Sitting on the terrace, you are practically completely visible from the parking lot. The towels were dirty, everything seemed unhygienic. We had reserved for five nights but fled right after our arrival. We still had to pay for one night, at least not all five, as we made a complaint through booking. Completely inappropriate accommodation for the price.
Great location, super parking right in front of the door, okay for 1-2 nights without using the kitchen.

The location is great for the sea and the beaches. The air conditioning and the fridge work quite well. All in all, it is a quiet place, at night it is silent, the doors insulate well: not too much light comes in when they are closed. If one is content, one enjoys. Personally, I was quite comfortable there. Friendly staff.

- • The equipment of the little house is more than basic. Many things are missing. The outdoor kitchen, like camping, overlooks a parking lot where roosters, hens, geese, ducks freely roam. Also cats. During my 6-night stay, no one ever came to clean or change the towels (I didn't even ask). The bed is not very comfortable and there are plastic leak-proof sheets under the normal sheet: an unpleasant feeling. The water that comes out of the taps is salty: it may be fine for pasta, not for coffee. Cost of an umbrella, two sunbeds, and parking 50 euros. I was on foot. The town is uphill, to reach it there is a staircase that is a bit challenging uphill... the train station is even higher, getting there in the heat and blazing sun is tough... there are buses, but everyone denies it, and suggest taxis. Calabria, and the mirage of Tropea, beautiful nonetheless.

The location because it is close to the sea and the stairs leading to the historic center of Tropea. The air conditioning. The courtesy of the staff and their availability, they are people who work all day continuously always with a smile. Safety.

- • The structure is run down. The photos on booking are misleading: the ground floor houses overlook a parking lot because the basic structure is a parking lot for campers and those going to the beach, so at 7:30 in the morning the comings and goings of cars start when one would just want to sleep. It is also easy for one to be sitting outside on the terrace maybe having a coffee and a meter away there is a car exhaust pipe. Not only that: the kitchens are only outdoors, so the dust raised by the cars ends up on the utensils. The houses are not as clean as they should be, the towels worn out and sometimes torn, the furniture old, the only bedroom has a single high window that overlooks below street level, the bathroom has no windows, the mirror was broken, the shower leaked water so much, no matter how much you dry, it doesn't dry even after a day. The smell in the bathroom was very unpleasant, the only wardrobe in the house had a horrible smell, and above all the stench of garbage as soon as you entered the structure was mind-boggling, as mind-boggling as the presence of geese and ducks in the parking lot that also leads to the restaurant, with feathers flying everywhere (and therefore also on the outdoor kitchen of the house). There are also cockroaches, for two nights in a row they visited us at home, and we came home with a nice souvenir: bed bugs. The sheets are old and not suitable for the size of the mattress (they kept moving and in the morning we found ourselves practically sleeping on the mattress whose hygiene conditions were definitely questionable). In the bathroom there is a towel rack but alas it is rusty. In the evening, hot water was missing twice (we complained and of course, they immediately took care of it). The value for money is totally disproportionate.
