Beautiful Lithos

Soggiorno semplicemente fantastico al Lithos Hotel. La posizione è eccellente: la fermata del bus si trova proprio davanti all’hotel e la spiaggia è raggiungibile a piedi in pochissimi minuti, a circa 100 metri. Quello che però rende davvero speciale questo posto è l’accoglienza. Marios e Marina sono host straordinari: gentili, premurosi, sempre disponibili e capaci di farti sentire davvero a casa. Per il compleanno della mia fidanzata hanno preparato una sorpresa meravigliosa, un gesto che non dimenticheremo. È difficile trovare aggettivi abbastanza grandi per descrivere la loro bravura e la loro umanità. Un grande abbraccio a Marios e Marina: spero davvero di poter tornare in futuro.

Beautiful Lithos

We arrived to a lovely welcome from Marios & Marina & were taken to our fabulous sea view room. This hotel is spotlessly clean & very chic & we loved everything about it. Marios & Marina are 2 very special people & always had time to share recommendations for restaurants, places to visit & the best beaches around & we enjoyed our many chats around the pool bar. They have an amazing small team, all so very hardworking (special mention to Farhat for his hospitality) & nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are delicious & we looked forward to these each day all made fresh & eaten outside with beautiful views. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which makes getting around easy & after some exploring the hotel pool was lovely to come back to for a dip. Marios & Marina you made our stay just perfect & we can’t wait to come back again some day.

Wonderful Lithos!

Lithos by the Sea was a dream, the hotel owners and managers Marina and Mario went above and beyond for us, we couldn’t have felt more looked after and welcomed into the Lithos family. They are truly special humans. They imparted their local knowledge and recommendations, so we really got the most out of our stay and helped us figure out what to do and when, without them we would’ve missed so many treasured experiences. The hotel itself is spotless with contemporary with chic architecture and interiors. Our room was perfect, I went on the holiday with a friend and we had a suite with two bathrooms and a sofa bed so could spread out across the two rooms, and we also had a kitchenette and enjoyed a homemade breakfast on our balcony with a view of the pool and sea. The pool area has a view of the sea with a pool that is great for cooling off and having a quick swim and also has one of my non negotiables a pool bar, I loved the Coconut Crush smoothie! Mykonos is generally very expensive with pricey beach sun beds, so it was a relief to have a hotel with a lovely pool area to enjoy on some days. In terms of the local area the beach club Hippie Fish has a Greek night on Sunday which was so much fun and the food is really tasty but their sun beds are expensive so recommend Kalon next door for a cheaper alternative for day time local beach days. Ornos is the closest area that is the place to go for the supermarket, sea taxi, bakeries etc. Further afield, the beaches on the south are a must visit along with the beach clubs for some evening fun, and go explore the town and a must do is the boat excursion to Delos and Rhenia.

The hotel is a little gem, cared for in detail and very well maintained. Cleaning, rooms and views are truly dreamy. Marina and Marios are wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast served at the table with fresh and excellent quality products.

We were sad to leave as we were so well looked after and the cocktails were great!

Marios & Marina were the best hosts you could wish for, nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay really enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. They recommended places to go and they didn’t disappoint. Made us feel like part of the family ❤️

Fantastic property. Value for money. They take care of you like family

Location is great. Quiet and peaceful but not so far from ornos or the Mykonos town. Bus stop right outside takes you to the town in 15 mins max. Beaches right near the property.

Amazing would visit again

Absolutely everything, we booked a standard studio and got a free upgrade to a studio with a sea view. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond, it was one of the girls birthdays and they bought a cake for us and brought this to the room. They were very helpful explaining everything in the area including how to access public transport. Would recommend to everyone 🙂

Wonderful experience, Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Mario’s and Marina have created something truly special in this hotel. The room was spacious, very clean with a gorgeous sea view. Staff were friendly, helpful and so attentive. The ambience and vibe was lovely and both Mario’s and his lovely wife Marina went out of their way to share information about the island, best places to eat, excellent excursions and all of these proved correct. We felt the places they recommended to eat were excellent and good quality for money. I can honestly say this has been a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to come back to this hotel. Thank you Mario’s and Marina and all of your fabulous staff, especially Farhat!
