We had a very pleasant stay at Lin Inn TMS Taipei. The accommodation is extremely well situated, very close to Taipei Main Station, which made it incredibly convenient for getting around the city by train, taxi and other forms of transport. The room was spacious and comfortable, with decent amenities, a good shower and air conditioning, which was particularly appreciated during the hot summer weather. They also provided bottles of water, which was a nice touch. One of the things we found especially practical was the room access code. Everyone in our group could have the code, so we didn't have to worry about sharing or carrying a key. The cleaning system was also convenient: if we put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the room was not cleaned, and if we left it off, housekeeping would clean it. This gave us the flexibility to choose what suited us. The staff were friendly and helpful, although they mainly spoke Chinese. Fortunately, someone in our group could speak Chinese, so communication was easy for us, but this could potentially be more challenging for guests who don't speak the language. The location was definitely one of the highlights. There were plenty of food options nearby, including one of our favourites, the scallion pancake shop right downstairs, and a pepper cake shop not far away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The excellent location, spacious room, convenient access system and useful facilities made Lin Inn TMS a very practical base for exploring Taipei.

- • There was unfortunately no breakfast provided, which was a little disappointing. We also had to use a shared refrigerator rather than having one in our room, but it was still very useful to have somewhere to keep food and drinks. There was also a microwave available for guests, which was convenient.

Big, clean, near, quiet, cheap
Plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, located opposite Taipei Main Station, friendly to railfans, many breakfast shops at the corner of the first floor, next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, quiet late at night, polite front desk staff
