- • The rooms are - or at least appear - significantly outdated. In the bathroom, there are damaged tiles, the toilet is very cramped in a corner. Overall, the room unfortunately left us with a worn-out and sometimes neglected impression. The reception was not very welcoming and seemed rather unfriendly. In addition, the hotel is currently located directly next to a major construction site. Stopping or parking briefly in front of the hotel to check in was practically impossible. There is an underground car park, but the parking spaces there are so tight that parking with a larger vehicle like a BMW X6 is already a challenge without damaging the car. The further interaction with the guests did not improve our impression either. At the reception, we were practically waved over to settle the bill in advance - there was little sign of a hospitable attitude. The breakfast itself was basically okay. It was all the more bewildering that at the end of breakfast time, filled coffee cups were simply cleared away. When asked, it was explained that breakfast time was now over and the waiters were off duty. I have rarely experienced something like this in a hotel before. Due to the overall impression, we finally cut our stay short. Despite the circumstances described and the early departure, the full amount was still retained, which unfortunately rounds off the negative impression. Legally, this may be permissible - customer-oriented or accommodating, it is not in my opinion. Overall, a stay where as a guest, one unfortunately felt more like a nuisance than welcome.
