- • The only issue we had was getting transportation to arrive due to the location, but we figured it out!
Excellent hotel with great staff that made our stay fantastic!
Great breakfast and very nice outdoor space for eating and drinks. Spa services are WELL worth the money!

Terrible, not worth a penny of the investment
The maid entered the room without knocking on the door with us undressed and asked us to leave for her to clean! Cleaned anyway, did not change towels or put amenities

Would love to come back and stay longer
Room was beautiful and peaceful. The grounds surrounding the hotel are lovely. We also had three wonderful meals. The staff is very gracious and friendly. The only negative I might have is a lack of really hot water. Wished we had stayed a few more days.

Quaint, historic hotel in Sintra - would research other hotels in the area.
This is a very quaint historic hotel extremely close to the center of Sintra. However, being historic you will find the bathrooms smaller than usual with not the most modern plumbing (you will not be taking hot showers). The restaurant food is just okay as we had better food in town. However the staff is lovely and make your stay enjoyable. Our expectation is we could find nicer in the same vicinity.
