Overall, the stay met our expectations (family trip for shopping/beach)
The location is optimal for beach holidays. For a shopping tour, I would recommend an equivalent hotel in the city center. The breakfast is on par with a five-star hotel.

- • Neither the indoor pool nor the outdoor pool were heated. (Arrival in early October) The sea was significantly warmer. Unfortunately, it was not indicated at the time of booking that renovation work was taking place on the terraces above the 1st floor. A complaint at the reception resulted in 2 nights being charged at a reduced price. That, in turn, was accommodating. Dinners must be booked in advance, spontaneous decisions are not possible due to lack of seating.
Lovely hotel, would be great in spring and summer when the weather is nice, but a bit out of the way in winter.

- • Construction noises from neighboring rooms. Gardeners started working at 07:00 with loud equipment.

- • Despite informing the restaurant 3 times on the night that it was our 30th anniversary, it was disappointing as there were no special touches or congratulations, not even a small gesture on our dessert or cava in the room, nothing during the meal. The restaurant food was good value though. A bit of a letdown for a 5-star hotel as the service in hospitality areas and around the pool was distinctly lacking. The room was exceptionally clean. The cleaners were amazing. One girl at reception was amazing and one or two others, but it was very difficult to find staff to get a drink or snack on numerous occasions. Had to go searching for staff - very frustrating. Maybe half the staff had left for the summer - seemed to be running on a skeleton staff although there were lots - counted 8 - behind the reception at one point just socializing and not doing anything, as there was a distinct lack of anyone serving drinks. This hotel is not a 5-star!
